Your room, your data
Privacy policy for AirPilot
Last updated: October 28, 2026
AirPilot is provided by DaisukeTahara (“we,” “us,” or “our”). This policy explains how information is handled when you use the app or contact us for support.
Camera and augmented reality
AirPilot asks for camera access when you start an augmented-reality flight. ARKit uses the camera feed and device motion to detect horizontal surfaces and place a virtual drone and course in your room. This processing takes place on your device. The app does not record photos or video, save a map of your room, or send the camera feed to us. You can turn off camera access in your device Settings; augmented-reality flight will then be unavailable.
Information saved on your device
AirPilot saves your best Ring Challenge times for each course configuration and whether you have seen the first-flight guide. This information stays on your device. You can clear your best Ring Challenge times from the course menu. Other flight settings are used during the current app session. We do not operate a server that receives your flight records.
Connections, purchases and tracking
The app does not require an account or an internet connection for flight. It does not use Game Center, offer in-app purchases, include advertising or analytics SDKs, or track you across other companies’ apps and websites. Apple may separately process device diagnostics and App Store information under your device and account settings and Apple’s own privacy policy.
Retention and deletion
Locally saved information remains on your device while the app retains its data. You can clear Ring Challenge records in the course menu. Deleting the app may remove locally saved information; offloading the app or restoring a device backup may preserve or restore a copy according to your Apple settings. There is no AirPilot account or cloud save to delete.
Children’s privacy
AirPilot does not ask players to create an account or provide a name, e-mail address or other contact details in the app. If you believe a child has sent personal information to us directly, please contact us.
Support enquiries
If you use the AirPilot support form, we receive the name, e-mail address and message you submit so that we can respond. Please do not include passwords or payment details. The form sends a plain-text e-mail to [email protected]; the website application does not keep a separate submission copy.
We use our legitimate interest in responding to support enquiries. Our retention rule is six months after the last reply, or six months after receipt if no reply is sent, unless a client or legal record must be kept longer. See the website privacy statement for information about hosting, the mail service, security protection, mailbox cleanup and your rights.
Questions and privacy requests

Changes to this policy
We may update this policy if AirPilot or its information practices change. The date at the top of this page identifies the latest version.
